Specimens Botanic Gardens and State Herbarium of South Australia

The State Herbarium of South Australia has over 6000 lichen packet envelopes which have been collected from all over the world, including Antarctica.

We are endeavouring to database all of our records by transcribing the information on all of our envelopes. The information that you enter in this project will eventually be shared through the Australiasian Virtual Herbarium and GBIF meaning that anyone from around the world will be able to access and use the data.
